color me spring

The signs of spring are everywhere... Walnut in particular is in full blossom. The trail where I walk my dogs has started to fill with flowers alongside. The hills are absolutely beautiful! They're like these gigantic waves of yellowness. My goal is to lay in them and take a picture :)

Joys of the Open Road

I love to get bitten by the spontaneity bug because the aftermath is always so much fun. One of my favorite places to drive up to is Big Sur in Northern California. It's about a 5 hr drive, but every minute. Getting there is half the fun when paired up with a great set of friends!

Our first stop was Nepenthe a Greek Cafe that sits atop a cliff. Due to the sporadic rain we were force to dine indoors.

Any road that leads to an ocean view is fine with me :)

Ryan actually got trapped in the water while standing on a single rock! This was the precursor.

I love this candid portrait of Elyse. This is definitely my favorite from the trip.

It's spreading like fire...

Dub 8 Live at the House of Blues

I had a fabulous time shooting Dub 8 at the House of Blues Anaheim. I wish that I could've taken a moment to set down the camera and shaken my tush on the dance floor. Shooting this was a challange! It was tough getting around because the venue was extremely crowded. As with all night performances the lighting conditions were a challange... But I am very happy with the results.
